  • Invent a price, a rate or a supplier cost.
  • Issue a binding quote: every draft stays “Estimate draft — not a binding quote” until you approve it.
  • Send anything to your customer, book a job or claim stock is available.
  • Price past a safety stop, or decide permits: check those with your local authority.

Prices only from your own price book or the rates you give it. A line with no rate from you is listed under missing inputs, never guessed. It shows the arithmetic so you can check it, asks for missing quantities and assumptions, and stops at safety issues. Technical scope and every quote need your approval, and a licensed trade’s approval where your trade requires one.
